courts and hackett

David Courts and Bill Hackett, both graduates of the Royal College of Art, London, shared a common interest in bizarre and exotic imagery and in 1975 formed the Courts and Hackett partnership producing jewellery and sculpture for the next twenty five years.

They have been featured in art books and magazines and examples of their work are in permanant collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum and Goldsmiths Hall, London. In the year 2000 the partnership was dissolved in order that they could pursue individual artistic interests.

Worldwide interest in the Keith Richards skull ring and speculation surrounding its designers resulted in a collaboration to produce a new version of their original design.
